Video Storytelling and Peruvian Culture is a reporting project led by Professors Mike Beaudet and Monica Canavan as part of the Dialogue of Civilizations study abroad program at Northeastern University. Over the course of five weeks, students produced video news reports and documentaries covering various topics ranging from extreme sports to national political issues. The group had the opportunity to gain hands-on video and editing experience while immersing themselves in Peru’s vibrant and multicultural landscape. Students worked with translators and local guides to dive deep into their stories and discover the complexities of issues in Peru.

Pulse of Peru: Exploring the Cultural Tapestry is a collection of video news reports and documentaries filmed and produced by students that highlights the journalistic and multimedia abilities of the group.
